How to simplify store management and avoid chaos

Managing a business should be exciting, but it often turns into a headache when you rely on spreadsheets, notebooks, or, worse yet… your memory (which you swear never fails you, until it does)

Whenever I think about managing a store, I remember a friend who blindly trusted her "infallible" system for running her business: a notebook, a pen, and the hope that she wouldn’t forget anything… but she constantly noticed that her inventory and reality lived in parallel universes

With orders, the story wasn't much different. Between loose notes, emails, WhatsApp messages, and misunderstandings, some orders got lost in limbo. Sometimes, a customer would show up asking about their purchase, and they'd end up more confused than she was

To keep from going crazy, my friend started going for walks in the mountains, seeking a bit of peace and tranquility amidst all the chaos. There, among trails and fresh air, she could relax and… forget about all those hours she spent trying to balance payments and wondering who owed her and when would be the right time to collect. Between wire transfers, cards, and cash, there always seemed to be something out of place

Hiring help seemed like the perfect solution, but as her team grew, keeping everyone synchronized became an increasingly complicated puzzle

One day, we ran into each other at the park while walking our pets, and she told me how her business was growing, but so was the chaos

It was then that I told her about wicadu and how it could help her. Not only would her inventory be up to date, but with each order, she could attach documents, invoices, and related payments, plus set up reminders for collection dates without any hassle

Unlike her notebook, which always ran the risk of getting lost or damaged, with wicadu she didn't have to worry anymore, because all her data would be protected in the cloud. Accessible only to her and her collaborators

Today I called her to find out how things had gone with Wicadu, and I was glad to hear that her biggest worry now is whether her cactus is getting the right amount of water

Is your business driving you crazy too? The wicadu Assistant is here to help you to manage your store
